Deanna Rose Farmstead

Travis, Jackson, and Zoey joined us at Deanna Rose for a fun-filled morning this week!
Christopher was so much fun to watch.
 He wasn't afraid of anything!

 We mined for gold.
Christopher tried his best to ride the baby goats.

 He finally got one!

 Snack time!

 My little climber!
 Hi Zoey!

A new addition this year, a gigantic wind chime!
Then we went on a nature walk.
And finished it off with the prairie dogs and
... koi.
Lots of fun and so glad we could all go together!

21 months and random

Slowly but surely Christopher is picking up new words. Like: hello, door, baby, on (which means on and off). And he has 2 cadence like phrases that clearly mean: Here you go and Good job.

Audrey got a cowboy hat from Grandma and now she wants to wear it everywhere!
 My cutie pies!
Christopher loves talking on the phone. He has full conversations and the only word we can understand is Hello!

Batter Up!

Audrey has taken an interest in baseball so we got her a tee ball stand to practice.

We're hoping to get her in a tee ball league this summer or fall.
Christopher pretended it was a microphone!
Nice hit!

Group shot at Branson

I forgot to include this in the previous post!  :)

Girls Trip to Branson April 14-16, 2012

We loaded up the rental car and headed to Branson, MO for the 100th anniversary of the Titanic sinking.
Audrey was great for her first girls trip!
Kristi was super excited!

We watched a tribute concert for an hour before we went on the museum tour.
This man played Captain EJ Smith.
Audrey got bored and played Angry Birds.

The eternal flame at the bow of the ship.
After the museum we checked into the hotel and went swimming. Audrey was checking herself out.
And then jumped on the bed while we were waiting for everyone to get ready.

After swimming we decided to walk downtown along the river and boardwalk.
Throwing pennies.

Erin was jamming to the music.

Then we ate at a fabulous mexican restaurant with yummy guacamole and margaritas!

Audrey loved the queso.
Lugene, the guacamole.
The next day we took the trolley and shopped downtown.

Audrey rode a horse outside the five and dime store. It was fun watching her in the store. She thought everything was so cool!
That night we went mini golfing. I think Audrey lasted about 11 holes. After that she was our caddy and told us how to hit the ball.

Before going back to the hotel for the night Audrey wanted to sit in this chair. It vibrated like crazy!
Before heading back to KC, we went to the Gone with the Wind museum!
Lots of cool memorabilia!

We had lunch at Lamberts. Erin and Lugene were impressed.
Erin's pork chops came in a full skillet.
One last stop before home, Osceola. They have over 200 varieties of cheese!
A fun-filled weekend. And we can't wait to go on another one together!
