Christmas Day

Steve got a new coffee maker.
And I got a new purse!
 The kids are spoiled!
 His new doctor kit.
 And a Magna Doodle!
 Baby Maggie

Audrey's big present was a digital camera. I will post some of her pictures on here soon. She loves it.
Another great Christmas indeed! I need to go through all the kids' toys and recycle them. There isn't any room for the new stuff! What a great problem to have.  :)

Christmas Eve

We are all ready to open presents!

Christopher really got into it. He loved ripping open the paper and looking for the next one to open.
Papa gave Audrey an American Girl baby doll that she named Maggie.
Steve's gifts involved a theme of A Christmas Story and the leg lamp. It was hilarious!
Christopher got a talking Elmo. It was a hit too!
And by far his favorite was the pull toy from Travis and Angi.
And his big present from Papa was pretty awesome. Now he can drive around with his sister in her pink Corvette!
Steve made Dad a push block to use in the work shop.
And we surprised Mom with a portrait of the 4 grandkids.

 Merry Christmas!
You can come now Santa, my cookies are waiting.

Cookies for Santa

Audrey was afraid Santa wouldn't come unless we made him cookies.
After a trip to the grocery store in search for sprinkles, we began our cookie making.
 She was very helpful.
Audrey and her sprinkles. This kid LOVES them!

Can you tell which cookies I decorated and the ones Audrey decorated?  :)

 Yum
 Yum
Believe it or not, we did leave some for Santa.

Christmas Lights Adventure Dec. 23

My camera really does not do these Christmas lights justice.
We took the kids light seeing this weekend. Christopher got bored early. But Audrey had a good time. Steve and I had a blast. We plan to do this every year from now on.
We really liked the neighborhoods that coordinated together. It was such a fun experience.

Life at 16 months

It's rough being the younger brother!
This is a new stance Christopher has adopted. He walks around with his hands clasped behind his back all the time. He has another eye tooth bringing the total up to 14, and he can recognize and say Elmo. Christopher also gives kisses on demand. Granted, they're open-mouthed, but cute.
We love playing together!
(I swear this box has provided countless hours of entertainment for both!)

Audrey's Christmas Program Dec. 15

Christopher was entertaining himself while we waited for the program to start.
The kids took turns putting up a character of the nativity scene while Pastor Suzi told the story of Jesus' birth.
And they sang songs! Audrey really didn't participate with the hand gestures until the last one.
 It was very funny!
Audrey was mostly serious and concentrated.

And everyone loved the cookie reception afterwards!

Merry Christmas!

One of the two pictures Audrey took with Santa. I am still hopeful that I'll get one with Christopher...

I thought they did quite well and the pictures captured their personalities perfectly.
