Christmas Morning

I asked for a guitar for Christmas and Santa delivered!
Now Steve has a bass and I have the guitar. Steve received money for his new work bench that he wants to build. I'll take pictures once it gets underway.

Audrey thought the people and the furniture belonged on top of the house!

Very busy in the kitchen.

Busy in the doll house.

And ringing up her groceries.

Thank you Santa!

Audrey's new tent has a tunnel that connects to it as well.

Her new kitchen and tent.

We had an awesome Christmas! And Aunt Kristi is on her way to see us tonight for a few days. And heading to Lawrence tomorrow for more Christmas with Granny Jo and Pa. It just keeps going on and on...

White Christmas

We were blessed with about 6 inches of snow and wind that gave us 18 inch snow drifts.

Audrey and I watched Daddy shovel the car out of the snow.

It took about an hour.

And we still managed to get out for Chinese on Christmas day, despite the lovely weather.

Family picture Take 1
We let Audrey open one Santa present early. A glow in the dark fish tank!

Daddy helped unwrap.

Merry Christmas everyone!

What do you have there Grandma?

Papa and more new tools!

Zoey helping Travis open up his new GPS.

You'll shoot your eye out!

The girls even shared a little.

Audrey had to go through all the pieces of her new doll house!

This is pretty cool.

How are we doing?

Jackson was so excited he could hardly contain himself!

I believe Audrey was eating chocolate. Love my girl!

Audrey got the unwrapping part down pat!

So did Zoey!

Audrey LOVED her cash register.

And Zoey got a new Barbie car!

Please read this book to me Grandma...

21 months

Our small and humble Christmas tree. I didn't want a real big one this year. Audrey was surprised when she woke up yesterday morning! She likes touching all the ornaments and is being gentle for the most part.
I was trying to get some shots of Audrey in her other Christmas dress.

This is the best I could come up with.

The candles were quite entertaining and so was Anthony making googly faces at her!

Audrey's list of words just keeps growing and growing! And I am amazed at how much we can understand what she's trying to tell us. Newest words: milk, water, kitty, box, pretty, rice, cakes (pancakes), bible, ice, tractor, bubble, rock, watch, nose, star, sock, shoe, moon, stuck, peanuts, bunny, teeth, owl, mouse, chose (cheerios), cheese, church, tweet, honk, choo-cho0, ho-h0, house, sit, morning, bear, bell, tree, shirt, one, two, blue, pink, block, book, mine and pants!
Her new favorite foods are blueberries, kiwi and cottage cheese.
And she recognizes several letters, mostly E, O and Y.

Christmas Photo Shoot at Grandma and Papa's

After the chili supper at church we all went to Grandma's to take pictures for her Christmas card. The kids really liked what Papa did with the front yard!
Snowman!
And Grandma's Village was a HUGE hit with everyone! Although after we left, she said it looked like a tornado came through!
Between Angi and I, we were able to get some decent pics of the kiddos.
I believe she is looking at bubbles.

My best one of Zoey.

Jackson looked quite similar to this last year!
It was entertaining to say the least!

A Family Night on the Plaza

After the carriage ride on the Plaza, we went to Barnes and Noble. The kids had fun playing with the trains.

Aunt Bluejeans gave Audrey this new shirt and jacket. Audrey has become VERY attached to Bunny lately. Not sure where that came from but she seems to need him for more than just sleeping!

Christmas card preview

Don't ask me why these are all out of order! Jackson and Travis reading together.

Jackson and Papa Don

Most of us are actually looking at the camera. It's amazing!

The girls were all over the place on the carriage.

My inexpensive camera actually captured some nice Plaza lights.

The happy couple!
