My 12 week old Pumpkin

Christopher gained 10 ounces this week and is up to 14 pounds and 6 ounces! Just 3 ounces shy of what Audrey weighed in at 6 months! How long can he keep up this pace?!?
Still loving tummy time and rolls over about once a day.

I went back to work this week so no more weekly weights. I'm going to miss the women at my breastfeeding support group. :( But I will try to go when my schedule allows. I had a successful night back at work. I was able to pump plenty of milk and our freezer is overflowing! The new routine is going to take some getting used to for all 4 of us but I know it will work itself out.

Pumpkin Patch

We trekked out to Lawrence for our annual pumpkin patch pick. Audrey was showing us just how tall she'd gotten over the past year!
As always, Christopher was an angel and slept most of the time.
Audrey started out cranky but got better as the afternoon wore on.
She liked the pig!

And all three kids liked playing in the hay tunnel!
For some reason Audrey deemed the orange pumpkins "scary", and would only pick out yellow, white or green. Silly girl!
There she is!
Zoey and Audrey!
One of many yellow pumpkins she tried to pick.
The one we finally took home.
Steve found this cool white/green one!

The kids were tired of picking pumpkins so we went to the playground!

This is the best group shot I could get.
The girls were being quite silly in the pumpkins!
Audrey and Jackson went down this slide about a million times.
We were blessed with beautiful weather this year and can't wait to go again next year!

Audrey, Audrey How Does Your Garden Grow?

This was our first attempt to grow a garden.
Steve planted all kinds of things.
Audrey enjoyed going out every other day and collecting ripe tomatoes.

Here are some unripe Roma tomatoes.
Audrey was great with the spade.
She dug up worms.
Tossed dirt here and there.
After it was all said and done, we netted several tomatoes, basil, parsley, and one whole green pepper. We're hoping to better next year!

My 11 week old Porkchop, Future Football Player, You Name It...

Christopher gained a whopping 18 ounces this week! He is now up to 13 pounds and 12 ounces and getting heavy to carry!
He also turned over for the first time today, tummy to back. He did it in front of the whole family and we were so happy for him! His first big milestone! Yay little man!

Just Audrey

My goofy girl hamming it up for the camera.
She loves this Burger King crown!
Look at me on the big potty!

Over the summer Audrey has completely grown out of 2T clothes. She also grew out of 2 shoe sizes and is wearing size 7 now. She knows all of her lower case letters and loves to "read" the letters in her books. She also likes to tell her own stories as well as being read to. Although you can't recognize it, her imagination has taken over her drawings and she "draws" animals and trees. She is poop potty trained and pees on the big potty about half of the time. She transitioned into the role of big sister quite well and we praise her all the time for being such a big help to us! She's got the whole church wrapped around her finger and we thank God for blessing us with such an energetic, healthy, ornery little girl.

Fall Outings

Our outing days are numbered. I'm going back to work in 10 days and the weather is getting cooler. I took the kids to the park and Christopher was actually happy in his carseat. He's usually pretty fussy.
Audrey and her sticks,

and pine cones.

A "giant stick" according to Audrey.
Christopher just chilled.
This is how Audrey prefers to swing.
I think her tummy gets woozy when she swings upright.
And she loves the flowers. I try to stop her from taking off the petals but I don't always get there in time.
She said she was getting tired so we left after the brief break on the bench.
Then I treated Audrey to her very own ice cream cone.
Christopher was excited about it too!
She only ate a few bites/licks and then gave up. I got to eat the rest. :)
She was more impressed and interested in my Dr. Pepper.

10 weeks and growing!

Christopher still likes tummy time. He's getting close to turning over, just trying to figure out how to push his feet off.
Already breaking hearts...

And having fun!

One of the rare photos with me in it. And we're passed out!
Christopher had his largest weight gain this week with 14 ounces! He's up to 12 pounds and 10 ounces!
