15 month portrait

This was the first picture the photographer took of Audrey. After that she pretty much ran all over the place! Audrey is getting her first molar. It hasn't affected her sleeping but she's fussier during the day. I'm sure it hurts. Audrey also started Parents' Day Out one day a week at church. She seems to be enjoying it and Steve and I are enjoying the 6 hours to ourselves. :)

3rd Anniversary

Steve and I went to Tatsu's again for our anniversary dinner while Grandma and Papa watched Audrey. It was a very nice evening out.
Our favorite spot at Countryside

Road Trip to Fort Worth, Texas June 11-14, 2009

Thursday we loaded up the Crown Vic and headed 550 miles to Fort Worth. It was a fun, quick trip. The GPS was quite handy.
While we were there, we got pedicures!

We stopped in Oklahoma City at the Rib Crib and had lunch with Marie Stump. It was so good to see her!

Once we arrived in Texas, we went to Candace and Jason's house, where Kylee and Christopher couldn't get enough of Audrey!

All three hit it off like bandits!

Kylee kept saying how cute Audrey was and Christopher was concerned because he couldn't understand her. At lunch on Friday, Christopher resorted to baby talk and he and Audrey had full conversations!

We watched Christopher's tee-ball practice on Friday.

Kylee and her Great Aunt Suzie

It was a pink day.

Then that evening we met Jake for dinner and went to the Fort Worth Water Gardens downtown.

It was pretty cool.

Yay fountains!

Suzie, Bonnie and Jake

Audrey just loved Jake!

Then on Saturday we went to the Botanical Gardens. It was 95 degrees and 90% humidity! But it was pretty.

There were at least two weddings taking place that day. It was fun to watch the brides take their pictures in the gardens.

Audrey loves flowers.

Audrey enjoyed pushing the buttons and hearing the different bird sounds.

All pooped out!

Awww

I need that one right there!

After baths and naps we went to the Stockyard Exchange to see a real live cattle drive. This is Pecos Bill.

Real Texas Longhorns

Audrey wasn't too impressed with riding a longhorn.

It was so HOT!

We're on a girls road trip!

Then we cooled off in the pool at Aunt Bonnie's.

I think Audrey liked it.

She loved splashing!

15 month checkup

Audrey went to the doctor today and everything checked out great! She didn't even cry when she got her 3 shots! She is now 21 pounds and 7 ounces (30%) and 31 3/4 inches (80%). The doctor thinks it's in her genes to be tall and skinny. We'll see... Off to Dallas tomorrow to see family. Wish us luck, we're driving!

Parks and Recreation

Steve bought Audrey her own set of maracas, and the house hasn't been quiet since!
He also bought some shaker eggs for himself but Audrey loved them too.

Shake it girl!

A new slide whistle!

What else is in here?

We went to the park week. We were trying to get nice pictures but Audrey was not cooperating as you can see...

Much better!

I'm outta here!

Lemme go!

She did have fun sitting on Daddy's lap and playing with flowers.

Or weeds.

Isn't this sweet?

It was such a pretty day for the park.

Daddy and Audrey checking out the rose garden.

She was kind of clingy that day so she didn't explore the park too much.

Except for the slide of course!

We're working on walking up inclines. It's tricky stuff!
