Audrey's Follow-Up Eye Appointment

I took Audrey back to the pediatric opthamologist last week to have her eyes looked at again. Her right pupil is still noticebly larger than her left. They dilated her eyes and after a fun exam the doctor determined that this is her normal and there is nothing wrong with her vision. Yay! We don't even have another follow-up visit scheduled. We are very thankful that she continues to thrive and be a healthy normal little girl.

12 month Portraits

Audrey is holding her favorite stuffed animal, "bunny", and smiling with her crinkled nose, something new she started about a month ago. She's also wearing her Number 1 Birthday Girl outfit picked out by Grandma.
It's kind of hard to see but she's holding a number 1 in the standing photo.

Big Girl!

This doesn't look comfortable but she is often found this way. We are now up to 6 or 7 steps and her balance gets so much better every day. We keep thinking she'll be taking off any day now! Audrey also says "Hi Tee-Tee" and waves to the cats in the morning when she wakes up. It's the cutest thing.

Baby Girl Turns One!

Birthdays are fun Grandma!

Audrey's favorite stuffed animal is a bunny so we went with that theme this year.

Audrey had her one year check-up last week. She is now 19 pounds and 7 ounces (25th percentile) and 30 inches (75th percentile)! She can walk 3 or 4 steps on her own now, wave and say bye-bye, can say Hi Daddy, give high-fives. She loves toys with buttons to push. Only takes one nap a day and still sleeps about 12 hours at night. We won't do monthly pics anymore, we'll go to every 3 months now. It's been a fast and fun year. We can't believe she's one already, I vividly remember still being pregnant. Her birthday party was fun. Aunt Kristi and Erin flew in for the weekend. Stayed tune, there may be a YouTube video of us singing with helium!
