Jackson's 7th Birthday Party

 With a Star Wars theme, all the kids got a light saber to play with.

 Everyone was fascinated by Jackson's new Star Wars figurines.

 Then we whacked the the Death Star pinata!

 Unfortunately the holder broke and Travis had to hold it while the kids hit it.

 He took quite a beating on the arm! Poor guy!

And finally we got the candy!

Butterfly Festival Wyandotte County Lake Sept. 29

 Mom, Jennifer Hall and I took Audrey, Christopher and JJ to the butterfly festival.

 There was a tent they could go into and hold butterflies.

 Audrey and JJ had a blast and got along great as usual!

 JJ caught a grasshopper, out only catch of the day.

 Then we went inside and did some fun activities and crafts including face painting!

 Even Christopher sat still and wanted his face painted.

We are so happy! And another beautiful day to be outside!

Family Time at the Baseball Game Sept. 22

 A beautiful night at the ball game.

 Christopher and Zoey ate a minimum of 10000 cheetos!

 It was fan appreciation night so we all got a Royals blanket.

And Audrey was so happy to get cotton candy!

Visit to the Zoo

 Last week Mom and I took the kids to the zoo.

 Audrey wanted to push the stroller all by herself.

 As usual the polar bear didn't disappoint.

 Unfortunately I didn't get many pictures because my batteries died. But we had a lot of fun and the kids enjoyed all the animals.

Apple Orchard Fun

 Christopher didn't quite get the concept and kept picking the ones off the ground. Oh well, he had fun anyway!

 His basket was SO FULL but he carried it.

 Look what I have!

 Audrey was very patient while Steve used the picker. Most of the apples on the bottom branches had been picked over so Steve got the ones on top and she put them in the basket.

 Then we played on the tractor!

 And chased chickens!

And we're happy!
