9 Weeks- It's going way too fast!

Christopher's 2 month check up went well. He's up to 11 pounds and 12 ounces, another 11 ounce gain in one week. He's in the 50th percentile for weight and 90th for length at 24 inches! His head, just like his sister,is in the 10th. He took his shots okay and had no adverse reactions. Audrey got her flu shot and didn't even flinch. She told the nurse "thank you, thank you very much" after it was all done. What a character! She also came up to me while nursing and exclaimed "the baby is eating your boob!" Oh boy. :)

Week 8 - A little late at posting...

It's rough.

I'm so happy!

And cute.

Christopher really doesn't mind tummy time.

And when he gets frustrated he just sucks on his fist, a new comfort mechanism he has discovered recently.

Bathing both kids at the same time is getting easier.

Especially since they both love it.

Can't wait to see what it looks like when they're both in the tub!

Christopher gained another 11 ounces this week. He's up to 11 pounds and 1 ounce. And he started sleeping 8-9 hours at night again.

Next week: 2 month check up and shots for baby and flu shot for Audrey. Yuck.

Week 7- Playtime

Christopher has a lot more awake time now.
But still likes to nap!

We've had a few 8-9 hour nights but he seems stuck on 6 for now. Not too bad for only being 7 weeks old. He's also up to 10 pounds and 6 ounces!

The Greatest Show on Earth

Grandma and Papa treated the grandkids to the circus this weekend.
Audrey was thrilled when Papa got her popcorn!

She ate over half the box!

She didn't want to be in the group shot with the clown. But happily took a clown nose from him.

She loved the elephants...

and tigers!

Christopher slept a lot and ate a lot.

Kansas City Zoo!

We took Audrey to the KC Zoo for the first time. At home, she called the sea lion a lion seal. Close enough.
It was 70 degrees and HUMID!

But Audrey did well and we were able to stay a couple hours and see about half the zoo before she and Christopher tired out.

This sea lion did all kinds of tricks right in front of us!

I still can't believe the kangaroos are not contained!
