What's new with Audrey?

She still loves her sidewalk chalks.
Especially drawing on herself.
I am writing this more for myself so that when I finally get around to scrapbooking it I'll remember what to write! In the last month Audrey has cut 3 of 4 two year old molars. I didn't even know she had 2 of them until she was playing with Grandma and we saw them when she was leaning back and laughing. Thankfully teething seems to longer be an issue. Audrey is great a gross motor skills like running, jumping, galloping, climbing. We are still working on fine motor skills like eating with utensils and working simple puzzles. She knows a lot of people by name especially at church. Audrey will talk on the phone now and carry on a brief conversation. Her favorite people to talk to are Grandma and Aunt KK. She still loves her carbs but we are trying to introduce more vegetables. A recent addition to favorites is mandarin oranges. As she says, "They are delicious." A word Grandma taught her. She still mainly drinks milk and water and will occasionally ask for juice but never finishes it. She has an amazing vocabulary and comes up with some great sentences that crack us up every day. Examples: "Baby in my tummy, be careful!" and "Is Nollie in timeout?" Audrey can count to 13 and is starting to learn her lower case letters. Due to summer hours her bedtime has been stretched to 8 or 830 and she is always up by 7 am, sometimes sooner. However, she stills takes a 2-3 hour nap every day. Her 2 "chores" are helping feed the cats every morning and unloading the dishwasher. Her interest in potty training waxes and wanes with her mood. I am hoping to work on it some more this summer while I am home on maternity leave. We'll see how much time, energy and patience I really have once her baby brother arrives! She knows Mommy has a baby in her tummy and to be careful. She often kisses my belly and can say brother and Christopher. She will be moving to a big girl bed and new pink room before her baby brother arrives and takes over the nursery she has occupied for nearly 2 1/2 years.
