Sea Life Aquarium

I'm ready to go in Grandma!
The kids had a lots of fun but they sped through all of the exhibits!

 Cool lobster

I thought the sting rays were awesome.
Audrey asked "Can I step on this?" The kids liked looking down on the sting rays.
And we dug for fish fossils.
They moved so fast it was hard to catch good pictures!
Then we went outside and watch the Crown Center fountains.

First Day of Preschool

Audrey had her first day of preschool at Countryside's Child Development Center.
She couldn't believe she had to go 3 mornings a week. Every day, she asked, "I'm going AGAIN?"
And Christopher will continue to go one day a week and have speech therapy at home while Audrey is in school.

Zoey's 5th Birthday Party

Despite it raining for the last 2 days, the park was in good shape for a party! The kids were ready to run!

And hugs to Granny Jo and Pa.
Christopher got bored so Grandma entertained him by the pond.
And then everyone wanted to join in on the fun.
Christopher continued to entertain himself by walking around with a bag over his head!
And Zoey scored some awesome gifts.

This started out as a group shot before a game of Green Light Red Light.
Which turned into a dog pile attack on Angi!

Audrey is in back. :)

Johnson County Museum Kidscape

I've discovered a new and FREE place to take the kids! Lots of hands on play and they loved it so much we went 2 days in a row!

One of Audrey's favorite rooms was the theater. She didn't want to perform or dress up. She wanted to DIRECT. It was hilarious watching her boss boys that were 2-3 years older than her!

 Making jewelry with Daddy.

Is there a doctor in the house?

And Christopher loved closing himself in the stove. It was just his size!
Lots of fun and I can see us going back many times!

Kiddo Update (It's about time!)

I don't know why this is upside down! Anyway... On August 4th Audrey was the flower girl at our friends' wedding, Hope and Zach. She insisted I make 3 braids. She did great at the wedding and looked so pretty!

Christopher continues to add new words every week thanks to the tubes in his ears and weekly speech therapy. He has even taken an interest in potty training even though he can't say the words yet! He also cut his other three 2 yr old molars.
