Trip to Denver

First, there were the dogs, Mac and Jasper. Every morning Audrey would ask to see the dogs.
She LOVED the dogs! She loved feeding them every day.
And they let her.
Her job was not complete until all the food was in their bowls. And the dogs were completely okay with her being around them while they were eating.
One more piece!
We went to Casa Bonitas and Audrey rode the rides.
She was a pro.
Who needs to sit?
She did not seem fazed by all the picture taking between Mommy, Grandma, Aunt Bluejeans, and Aunt KK.

We'll have to go back when she is a little older and can appreciate it better.

This is the life...

Audrey, Jason and Kandice
Awww

Audrey quickly forgot about how hungry she was when she saw the waterfalls and divers.

I did not forget to eat.

Jason gave all his spare change so that Audrey could toss it into the wishing well. Audrey clapped after every coin.

We visited Papa Curtis several times. Audrey kept herself occupied with her newest obsession, washing hands.
Her clothes were soaked!

Eye drops anyone?

Papa gave Audrey her birthday present early. Books and stickers! You can't go wrong with that!
Audrey loved the stickers.
It was a good three days. Audrey slept on the plane ride there and was a wild toddler on the way back. The altitude never seemed to bother her ears and despite having a cold she was in a good mood the whole time. I'm so glad she's adaptable! We'll see just how adaptable she is come July. :)

And now we are finally up-to-date and in 2010

Checking out her new tambourine.
There is always some kind of instrument playing in our house.
Audrey comes up to either one of and asks to "fly".

Say cheese!

More sleeping... a rare sleeping-in moment caught on camera.

Here is her tunnel that connects to the tent she got for Christmas.

It's a lot of fun until she tries to stand up!

Bath Time Rewind!

Here is Audrey at 8 months in November 2008.
No hair!

And December 2009... Still watching the water go down the drain!

And way more hair at 21 months.

And just as cute!

Random pics to finish out 2009

It's just his size!
I realize my child is almost 2 and I am still taking sleeping pictures. They are harder to capture these days because she already awake and yelling Mommy from the crib in the morning or after nap time.

I thought this was too cute!

Cuddling with Grandma after a nap.

Awwww

Belated Christmas Photos

Kristi and Audrey became quite the car riding buddies during Kristi's visit in December.
Audrey got some new crayons.
And a shopping cart!
And food! The food is now all over the house. I'm not sure we'll ever find it all until we move... :) Thanks Kristi!

22 months

I need to post Audrey's new word list, so here I am. I will try to post some pics this weekend. I'd do it now but I'm more interested in sleep. Audrey has also said two more sentences this week, Take this off and I'll tickle you. Newest vocabulary: snow, toast, cow, duck, kiss, reindeer, zipper, read, pizza, sorry, fire, cow, Santa, pear, ties, eat, stop, chair, thank you, okay, purse, purple, black, white, broke, hair, ears, green, Audrey, train, CD, Fraggle, Shrek, wall, stairs, mess, picture, bear, orange, circle, hands, sticker, straw, fries, giraffe, Butters, Nollie, cup, brown, corn, berries, bird, dog, race and arm! She can jump up and down quite well and recognizes about half of her letters and a few numbers but for some reason she always knows the number 6.

Sentences

I haven't taken very many pictures lately. I have a few more of Christmas and a few more of the snow to post. Plus I need to give a 22 month update on Audrey. But I wanted to post this before I forgot about it. Two days ago Audrey said two full sentences and in front of witnesses! I was making breakfast and I told her we were having toast, she plainly said, "I don't want toast." I was shocked for two reasons: 1) She said a sentence I could understand and 2) She definitely has an opinion that she can express. Then later that day we were at Grandma's and she couldn't reach a book that she wanted and said, "I gotta get that book." How on earth did we get from one and two word phrases to comprehensible sentences?!? I can not believe she will 2 in just two short months. Hopefully this crazy cold and snowy weather will be gone by then...
