Audrey's 2nd Birthday Party
My first attempt at making my child's birthday cake. I was pretty happy with the results and happy that Audrey recognized that it was Elmo.
Here are some of the guests: Jennifer Hall was holding Zoey, Jackson and JJ.

Audrey wanted to play with everything that she opened right then. She didn't understand the concept of opening up everything at once.

My (BIG) Little Girl
Audrey at 1
Audrey is 2 days old
Audrey is 2 days old
I still can't believe Audrey's 2nd birthday is tomorrow. She had her 2 year old check up today and everything looks great! She is 35.5 inches (80-85%)! And 25 pounds and 9 ounces (30-35%), the highest she's ever been in weight. If the wives' tale holds true, she will be 5' 11", WAY taller than me and not much shorter than Steve! Not too much to update since last month other than more new words. I will probably compile them at some point but I know she says 300+ words and says several 2-3 word sentences. She has an ornery personality and is very wild and active. Audrey loves Elmo and Sesame Street, running, hugs, kisses, her cousins, Grandma, Papa and babies. She knows several people by name, at church and relatives. Potty training is still a work in progress and still hopeful that we have it semi-mastered before the baby arrives.
New words: office, coffee, drum, treat, away, come, hurt, nipple, careful, triangle, coat, remote, finger, leg, phone, tv, donut, brownie, dice, balloon, camera, clown, again, warm, bath, noise, face, flag, broccoli, tail, neck, chicken, mouth, truck, dragon, now, dolphin, diamond, xbox, hungry, top, page, side, both, juice, sand, elephant, dinosaur, ocean, earring, welcome. And many more I'm sure I forgot to write down! :)
2 year old pictures are being taken this week!

Adventures of the Almost-Two-Year-Old!
So, Audrey absolutely hates having anything on her head. A hat, birettes, pony tails, anything. Tonight at church, Stephanie was able to convince her to wear her hair in a pony tail and she kept it that way all evening! In fact, she didn't like it when I took out the birettes before she went to bed.
But doesn't she look so cute?!

Maybe I can get her into pig tails for her 2 year old pictures next week!
We were at Red Robin yesterday for lunch. Audrey insisted on trying out my lemon.
With every taste she gave that sour look, yet she kept going back for more! It was hilarious!
And we started back with the potty training again. We started last week and have had pretty good results with peeing.
She keeps her interest by reading.
I keep asking her to smile but she is not having it.
